Afghanistan International Bank (AIB) is a local Bank with strong International shareholders headquartered at Kabul, Wazir Akber Khan, behind Lasay Amani High School, Afghanistan. AIB was established in March 2004 and after three years of its operations; the bank has established a branch network in major cities of Afghanistan that includes; three branches in Kabul (Wazir Akbar Khan Head Office, Microroyan & Shahr-e-Naw) and one each in Maza-e-Sharif, Kandahar, Herat and Jalalabad. SME has been established in 22nd Apr, 2007 with initial 5 weeks of training and with exact operation starting date of August 2007.
