The Afghanistan Rural Microcredit Programme (ARMP) was set up in 2003 by the Aga Khan Foundation (AKF). Its primary objective is to serve rural micro credit needs. The organization offers a variety of loan services to individuals to improve their business activities or remedy cash flow problems. ARMP reached operational sustainability in December 2005.
