SUNDUQ was setup by MADERA, a French NGO, in 2005. The organisation uses the village banking methodology to provide credit to rural households. MFI operations are spread across the Eastern part of the country (Nangarhar, Laghman and Kunar), with headquarters in Jalalabad city.
